This is a collection of choruses for the Ancient Order of Druids, the senior druidic order in the world, and the oldest in continuous existence. There is a hymn pasted in to the front cover (Installation Choruses), and then a folded sheet loosely slipped in which contains: The Opening Chorus (composed by Brother Grantham, formerly Pianist to the Grand Lodge), the three initiation choruses (on entering the Lodge and on conculsion of the charge), the Installation Chorus (on the N.A. taking the Chair after election), and the Final Chorus (on clising the Lodge on each evening of meeting, to the tune of Ditanti Palpiti). There are two of these loose sheets, each with the same choruses on.
Ancient Order of Druid material is fairly scarce as much of the Order's archives was destroyed during The Blitz.
Condition
The covers are in fair condition, a bit rubbed with some fading to the edges. The two loose sheets are heavily tanned and foxed as can be seen in the pictures but remain readable.
