This copy belonged to Irene de Castillejo and has been signed by her to the ffep. Castillejo (1885–1967) was a writer and Jungian analyst. She fled Spain for Switzerland after the Civil War started and spent the war years in London. Returning to Switzerland, she began her studies in Jungian psychology in Zurich working with C G Jung, Emma Jung and Toni Wolff. On her return to London, she established a psychotherapy practice specialising in the role of women in the world of today.
