Rose and Crown
The fifth volume of Sean O'Casey's autobiography
First edition, first printing. Hardback in dustwrapper. 22 × 14.5cm, 307pp.
The fifth volume of Irish dramatist Sean O'Casey's autobiography (it eventually ran to six volumes) which sees him in England "to stand among the alien corn, and like it", his marriage and life in London and Buckinghamshire, and his rows with the Abbey Theatre, the press and the Church.
A good reading copy. The dustwrapper is chipped to the edges and darkened to the spine. The book has some light foxing but is otherwise in strong readable condition.
