Nuruddin Farah's third book in his Variations on the Theme of an African Dictatorship trilogy
First UK edition, first printing. Hardback in dustwrapper. 22 × 14cm, 208pp
Nuruddin Farah's third and final book in Variations on the Theme of an African Dictatorship trilogy in which the characters are deeply entwined in the waking nightmare of a police state. An old man finds himself poised in mortal combat with an elusive and cunning enemy in an atmosphere where the distinction between public and private justice is always obscured.
The book is in very good condition, with a little foxing and dusting to the pages' top edge. The dustwrapper has some light tanning and crinkling to the edges but is otherwise good.
