The second instalment in the Wheels anthology of poems, the Edith Sitwell edited collection of verse. Poets in this issue are Edith, Osbert, and Sacheverell, Aldous Huxley, Helen Rootham, Iris Tree, Sherard Vines, Arnold James, and E W Tennant. The last one listed here was Edward Wyndham Tennant who was killed on the Somme in September 1916. His poem The Mad Silder was written three months before his death and was not included in his one and only book of published poetry 'Worple Flit'.

Condition

Whilst this copy is in strong readable condition, the covers are quite heavily rubbed and with some tanning. There is a 1918 inscription to the ffep, and the front pastedown has a modern bookplate and ownership stamp (the stamp is repeated to the rear endpaper). Contents clean and the binding secure.
