Hardback, bound in half blue leather by Bumpus, marbled paper covered boards, and with five raised bands and gilt titling to spine. All edges gilt, marbled endpapers. 18.5 × 12.5cm, vi [2], 319pp, 1pp ad, with fold-out map to front.
On a stormy night off the coast of Scotland, young David Balfour faces his most terrifying test yet. He's been double-crossed by his wicked uncle, tricked into a sea voyage and sold into slavery. Condition
A very attractive copy of Kidnapped. The leather binding is in very good condition, with only very minor bumping to the boards. The contents are in very good condition for age, with light foxing to the title page and margins (mostly around where it faces the folded map). The inner binding is secure and the book is free from inscription.
