A collection of black and white, sepia tinted and blue tinted photographs of aeroplanes and skyscapes. Manfred Curry was a German-born American was a physician, inventor, sailor and author who wrote a pioneering book on yacht aerodynamics, and naturally turned to aviation. The photographs are a splendid display of flight, clouds, and the vastness of the sky.
Condition
The book itself is in good plus condition, a good clean copy with just a little movement in the binding. The dustwrapper is poor, with loss to the spine ends and corners, and separated at the front joint and is now held in place by a protective sleeve.
