A collection of short stories by Roald Dahl: The Boy Who Talked to Animals, The Hitch-Hiker, The Mildenhall Treasure, The Swan, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, Lucky Break, and A Piece of Cake. The last two are semi-autobiographical, describing a little of how Dahl became a writer, and his time in the RAF in the Second World War.
Condition
Poor. Despite the book remaining perfectly readable, it has been ex-libraried to hell... The wrapper has light overall creasing and is bumped to the spine ends, with one small tear to the rear inside flap. The book has all the usual discard marks, taped reinforcements to the hinges, and heavy finger-marking to the page edges.
