This copy has been signed by Michael Pennington to fellow actor Ken Colley, "For my dear friend the Great Ken Colley with much love from Michael, the Toiling Author... May '22". Both actors starred in The Return of the Jedi (Michael Pennington as Moff Jerjerrod, and Ken Colley as Admiral Piett—and both perished in the final Death Star battle!)
Michael Vivian Fyfe Pennington (born 1943) is an English actor, director and writer. Together with director Michael Bogdanov, he founded the English Shakespeare Company in 1986 and was its Joint Artistic Director until 1992. He has written ten books, directed in the UK, US, Romania and Japan, and is an Honorary Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He is best known for his role as Moff Jerjerrod in the original Star Wars trilogy film Return of the Jedi.
Condition
The book itself is in good plus condition, with a bump to the bottom edge of the front board, and light bumping to the corners. The dustwrapper is a little creased to the edges, with a small tear corresponding with the bump to the front board, and a small abrasion to the left hand side of the front panel. However, it is now within a protective sleeve.
