Wilson McNair was a War Correspondent during the First World War, and here gives his impressions of the villages and towns in France and Flanders during the early years of the war, the tired troops, the military strategy, the battlefield, the transport depot and the hospital. The book is illustrated with photographs and a few small maps within the text.
Condition
A good reading copy. The upper board is stained to the fore-edge, and there is marking to the rear board. Some red dye from the boards has run to the pages' fore-edge. The rear hinge is starting, but otherwise this remains a perfectly readable copy.
