The book is in two sections, firstly water-analysis for general sanitary purposes (collection of samples, chlorine, organic matter, poisonous metals etc), and secondly Special Analysis, which deals with water hardness, gases and vapours dissolved by water, and urine and sewage. A final brief section gives examples of complete mineral analysis of the water supply to London, Manchester, Sunderland and Croydon, the Rhine at Bonn, and the Nile.

Good. The cloth is bumped and rubbed, and there is a previous owner's name to the ffep. The contents are in good condition, and the book remains in strong readable condition.
