When Alice follows the White Rabbit down a rabbit hole, she finds herself in an enchanted world, filled with creatures like the Mad Hatter, the disappearing Cheshire Cat, and the Queen of Hearts. Alice quickly finds out that nothing is as it seems in the wild world of Wonderland...

This edition has a frontispiece photogravure portrait of Lewis Carroll, a decorative border printed in light green to every page of text by Robert Murray Wright, and forty black and white full page illustrations by Peter Newell.

Condition

A poor copy but still readable. The boards are bumped and tanned, the front endpaper and frontis are neatly detached, the inner binding a bit strained throughout, and a number plates have worked loose, some with marginal creasing. However, it has been collated and all plates are present and in the correct place, and the book remains in good readable condition.
