Quite a rare copy of Metro-Land, the guide to suburban areas that were built to the north-west of London in the counties of Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Middlesex, all served by the Metropolitan Railway. Illustrated in colour and black and white, this guide gives historical guide of the towns of Metro-Land, Metro-Land and the Chilterns, and a guide to the countryside of the towns. There are details on the new housing estates in the area, with estate agents adverts (with many devoted to the development of Harrow Garden Village Estate).
Condition
Fair condition. Lacking the underground map. The covers are detached from the contents. Tanning and creasing to the covers, a small amount of loss at the head of the spine but the contents in good order. A good reference copy.
