Not signed but with the bookplate of musicologist Edward Joseph Dent to the front pastedown.
Fountains in the Sand tells the story Norman Douglas's travels in Tunisia, and his observation of the oasitic people and their way of life. Douglas had an eye for finding the unusual about the people he met. The book is illustrated with photographs, all of which are present as per the plate index.
Condition
A reading copy. The spine is tanned and the rear joint is frayed. The book is foxed throughout but remains in good readable condition. Previous owner's small signature to ffep (as well as Dent's bookplate, the book isn't signed by Dent)
