A rare first edition of the experiences of the Rev. James Fraser McLuskey who parachuted into occupied France during 1944 to serve with the men of the 1st Special Air Service Regiment in the area west of Dijon.
Condition
The book itself is in good condition but with some tanning and foxing to the page edges and margins, a bit of a stale tobacco whiff, and a neat previous owner's name to the ffep. The dustwrapper is a little worn to the edges and with a large segment missing from the rear, but is scarce to find in any condition. However, the dustwrapper has not been price-clipped and is now within a protective sleeve.
