A slim pamphlet produced by Hamish Fraser's Approaches magazine describing the troubles in Northern Ireland, an assessment of some solutions offered by politicians, and what could be done. Hamish Fraser (b. 1913, Inverness) was a Scottish communist who fought with the International Brigade in the Spanish Civil War. He returned to Scotland and was appointed, Scottish Propaganda Secretary of the CPGB and authored The Intelligent Socialist's Guide to World War II. He became disillusioned by the Communist Party and turned to Catholicism, and a vocal anti-communist.
Condition
Fair condition. It remains in good readable condition but was a low-budget production when issued. The covers are marked and a little creased, and some of the text is starting to fade but quite a rare booklet nevertheless.
