A biography of Robert Hugh (Monsignor) Benson, son of Edward White Benson, Archbishop of Canterbury, and younger brother of E F Benson and A C Benson. He was an English Catholic priest and writer, starting off as an Anglican then being received into the Catholic Church in 1903 and ordained therein the next year. He was also a prolific writer of fiction, writing the notable dystopian novel Lord of the World. Agnès de La Gorce as a French historian and writer and this was her first book.

Condition

Good condition. The spine is faded and there is rubbing and bumping to the joints and spine ends. The pages are tanned throughout but the book remaining in good readable condition.
