This book describes the work of the Post Office during the Second World War, from working through the Blitz to delivering Forces' mail, and to keeping the system operational through the war years. The book is illustrated with photographs. The front cover is a good 1940s design but the two illustrations by Coombs to the inside front and rear covers are superb.
Condition
