Hans Ruesch's classic novel about life among the polar Inuit. The chapters are based on magazine stories written for American journals from 1944 to 1950, and although it sails under the flag of fiction, they are based in the reality of the lives of the Inuit.

Condition

The book is in very good condition. The dustwrapper is fair only with an 8cm closed tear to the rear panel with some creasing and grubbying. However, it has not been price-clipped and is now within a protective sleeve.
