Printing Details

Hardback, bound in half leather, marbled boards. 31.5 × 19.5cm, 34pp.

Not signed as such but this copy has a handwritten list of trustees for the maintaining of the act. There are twenty-one names (all in the same hand) and it is stated they were elected on 23rd June 1791. This copy also with the bookplate of Francis Barchard to the front pastedown.

An Act from the Parliament of George III, this copy in the original form rather than disbound from a statute book, and sets out the rules for the maintenance and management of Finsbury Square in London.

Condition

The leather is chipped, especially to the front hinge. There is some weakening to the binding but all pages still securely bound. Areas of light spotted foxing but otherwise quite a good survival.
