A romantic thriller told by the three heroes (Giles Brittain, Lieutenant Tytler and Miss Cora Stuart). It is a Ruritanian romance set during a revolution in the imaginary kingdom of Moritania, with the hero Mr. Giles Brittain, special correspondent to the Evening Hooter, thwarting a plot against the kingdom’s exiled queen and winning her hand when she abdicates her throne. Lieutenant Tytler and is fiancée bicycle their way through some adventures... This appears to be the author's only book.

Condition

A good copy. The leather spine has some wear, and slight loss at the head and just above the first raised bands. The inner binding is secure, the prelims with some light blotchy foxing but otherwise in sound readable condition.
