"This book is the first to provide a comparative and comprehensive treatment of the evolution and role of the collective agreements in the CMEA countries, and to describe and analyse the position of the jurisprudence of the various socialist countries on his issue as well as the procedures and practices prevailing nowadays. It is pointed out that, in the course of the development of the socialist countries, these agreements have changed—especially in connection with the reform of economic management—and their emerging new forms have acquired increased importance due to the growing dependence of enterprises. Laszlo Nagy discusses in detail the development and changes in the content of the socialist collective agreements, the rules by which they are elaborated and the part played by workers and employees and the trade unions in this process. He also analyses the various views in the field of jurisprudence concerning the legal character of collective agreements and their position in legal regulation. Finally, consideration is given to the place of these agreements within the system of internal rules governing the activities of enterprises."
Condition
A good copy. There is some light wear to the wrapper, some dusting to the page edges, and some inoffensive pencil underlining but the book remains in strong readable condition.
