A A Milne's book of delightful poetry. The 38th poem in the book, "Teddy Bear", originally appeared in Punch magazine in February 1924, and was the first appearance of the famous character Winnie-the-Pooh, first named "Mr. Edward Bear" by Christopher Robin Milne.

Condition

A good copy. There is some rubbing and bumping to the cloth, a picture of A A Milne has been clipped from a magazine and pasted to the front pastedown, previous owner's name to half-title, and a handful of the pictures have been coloured in BUT these have been done very well, not the usual scribble!
