This is an unframed, detailed architectural painting of a house (probably newly built), along with the estate agents brochure once the house was completed. It was probably created for developers, architects, or estate agents, and shows a house called Costells Wood Cottage in Sussex between Haywards Heath and Scaynes Hill. It is unsigned but by Tony Townsend, an architectural and graphic artist.

This highly detailed work is in pen and watercolour, and is on paper. It measures 28 × 42cm. Probably dating from the early 1980s, it shows a couple on the drive with a nice new car (looks a bit like a Ford Cortina)

Condition

It is in very good condition, but with some light wear to the edges.
