Printing Details

This is a complete set of Geoffrey Grigson's About Britain series published by Collins in 1951 for The Festival of Britain. All books are gardback in dustwrapper, each measuring 22 × 14.5cm, and are all 92pp (or 94 if the pastedowns are counted as they have printed material on). Each has a wonderful colour title page, followed by a physical description of the area, noting geology, architecture, notable walks etc and are illustrated with photographs.

Condition

All 13 books are in good readable condition, some with light foxing throughout, others cleaner. The dustwrappers are fair, they are crinkled to the edges, and with some wear to the spines (East Anglia being the worst with creasing to the spine).
