This copy belonged to, and has been signed by, Edward J O'Brien, the American writer, poet, editor and anthologist. He has dated the book February 5th, 1920, and with the inscription Secretum Meum Mihi (My secret is mine). O'Brien established The Best American Short Stories series of books in 1915.
William Morris's retelling of the mythology surrounding the Greek hero Jason and the sorceress Medea. The poem is written in heroic couplets, a constant structure with pairs of rhyming lines, which set a marching tone to the narrative.
Condition
A good copy, the cloth binding is a little rubbed and dulled, but the contents are in good order and in strong readable condition.
