Philip Webb and his Work
1935, the first edition of W R Lethaby's study
First edition, first printing. Hardback, bound in the original green cloth with (faint) gilt titling to spine. 19 × 12.5cm, 234pp.
This is architect W R Lethaby's biography of his friend and fellow Arts and Crafts architect, Philip Webb, from his early days, to meeting William Morris and becoming an architect, as well as a study of his works. Illustrated with photographs.
A good solid copy. There is tanning to the spine and some light patchy fading to the rear board but the contents are in very good condition.
