An general introduction on drama and Shakespeare's times is followed by text on all the plays and poems as well as contemporaries of Shakespeare's and his critics. The book has a frontispiece formed of five portraits of Shakespeare.
Condition
This copy is in very good condition. The rebinding has been done to a high standard. There is some foxing between the frontis and title page, but the main body of text has clean pages and secure binding. There are a few loose newspaper clippings etc at the rear of the book.
