A collection tradition folk-songs from all over Italy, with chapters on Sicily, Tuscany, Venice, Istria, Piedmont and Lombardy, Friuli, Sardinia, Corsica, Liguria, Vicentino, Le Romagne e le Marche, Piiceno, Umbria, Rome and neighbourhood, Southern Italy, and Modern. A lengthy introduction is followed by the lyrics of the songs.
Condition
Poor. Quite a scarce book but this copy has the spine detached at the front hinge, and with loss at the head of the spine, and the front board weak at the hinge but still attached. The contents are a little musty but otherwise in good readable condition.
