First edition. Three volumes, complete. Hardback, bound in plain brown binders cloth with simple gilt titling to spine. Each 26 × 17cm. 306pp, 306pp, 426pp.
These three volumes contain all of The Old Curiosity Shop (pp37–306 in v1, and to p223 [chap 73] in vol 2). Barnaby Rudge is complete to the end of volume 3. Illustrated throughout by George Cattermole and Hablot K Browne (Phiz).
Condition
All three volumes are in good readable condition, though the brown cloth is dulled to all vols, and with wear and the heads of the spine, particularly to vols 1 & 3. Minor worming scar to the upper board of vol 1. The contents are in good condition, spotted foxing throughout but the inner bindings are secure.
