Oliver Richard Jessel was a hugely successful British businessman who in the 1970s was considered a master of the financial universe.
First published in 1874, Green's history runs from the formation of the English kingdoms in the fifth century through to the 1870s. It was a history that concentrated on the English people. Illustrated with maps.
A good copy but the front board had lived on the end of a shelf for some years and has geometric sun fading. The leather is in good condition, with just some light rubbing to the edges.
