This copy is signed by Edward Thomas's daughter Myfanwy Thomas to the ffep. Myfanwy Thomas (1911–2005) was six years old when her father was killed on the first day of the Battle of Arras, 9 April 1917. She was the first President of the Edward Thomas Fellowship when if formed in 1980. Additionally, there is an invitation to attend the book launch at the Imperial War Museum in London in 1997 to Commander & Mrs Jeremy Powell. Anne Powell was an anthologist, author, and historian of the First and Second World Wars.
Published in the 80th anniversary of Edward Thomas's death at Arras on the Western Front, this book is a facsimile of his first book of published poems under the pseudonym, Edward Eastaway. This copy features 64 of Thomas's poems (including Lob, Tall Nettles, In Memoriam, Adlestrop), a new introduction by Myfanwy Thomas. a reprinting of a letter from Edward Thomas to a friend at Oxford (believed to be dated March 1917), and a bibliography of the Carl Dons collection of Edward Thomas book.

This copy is in very good condition, with just a small dent to the wrapper at the front joint.
