Norman Douglas' lively account of a summer journey to an Austrian village in the Tyrol in the years immediately following the Great War. Douglas was born in Thuringen in 1868.

Condition

Fair, a good reading copy. The red cloth is heavily faded to the spine, and with some sunning to the top edge of the upper board. The inner binding is secure, the pages with light speckled foxing throughout. The book remaining in strong readable condition.
