A collection of tales either by Edgar Allan Poe or that influenced him. There are two Poe novellas: The Journal of Julius Rodman, and Who is the Murderer?, and also A Dream in which Poe describes a strange vision of the Crucifixtion. The other tales are ones that Poe acknowledged reading and include tales of premature burial, a man trapped beneath a clanging bell, and of a doomed girl reborn and doomed again.
