This James Boyle was the son of the founder, and who became sole proprietor of the business until his death in 1921.
An interesting book on the science of grasses, including several black and white illustrations, and charts showing the necessary amount of seeds for specified amounts of land. The book covers meadows, clovers, growing for food, etc etc.
Good condition. The green cloth binding suffers from some mottled fading but the contents are in good condition, though there is a light vertical crease to the first few pages. Otherwise in strong readable condition.
