A collection of monthly meditations by Ronald Knox, originally appearing in The Sunday Times. in his preface, Knox writes "Many of these lightning meditations were written during the war, when one's friends seemed to need comfort rather than admonition. We still need comfort, and may yet need it more; let us have the oil and wine of the Samaritan."
Condition
The book is in very good condition, with some light bumping to the boards. The dustwrapper is complete but a bit rubbed to the edges and faded to the spine.
