Printing Details

First edition, first printing. Hardback in dustwrapper. 19 × 12.5cm, 125pp + 2pp ads.

Described on the dustwrapper as 'one hundred questions concerning shot guns answered by on of the greatest living gun experts. A unique and necessary little book to every man who handles shot guns or rifles, for it gives information that is not obtainable elsewhere.' This copy is stamped by Higginbotham's Booksellers of Madras, a company set up by a British librarian (Abel Higginbotham) who arrived in Madras as a stowaway in the 1840s.

A good plus copy. The book has faded boards but the text is in very good condition. The dustwrapper is a rare survival and is on good order bar one small hole to the spine.
