Two pocket editions
Here are two pocket Shakespeare books. Both are small hardbacks.
1. William Shakespeare, A Commentary by M R Ridley. (Dent, London, 1936) First thus, red cloth, top edge gilt. This was the introductory volume to The New Temple Shakespeare. This copy in very good condition with neat previous owner's name to ffep.
2. Shakespeare's Sonnets (Richards Press, London, undated). Small hardback in dustwrapper. The sonnets arranged according to the sequence recommended by Denys Bray. Good condition, the dustwrapper a little tatty.
Both are in nice readable condition, the Sonnets dustwrapper a bit tatty.
