A fragment of a pageant written by Edward Charles, based around the last supper. Possibly irreverent as the author suggests in his preface. Edward Charles (real name Edward Charles Edmond Hemsted, b.1898) was an author, educator, social advocate and sexologist. His major work was The Sexual Impulse, and he was an important proponent of sexology, and in particular the promotion of contraception.
Condition
The book is in very good condition, with a few specks of foxing. The slipcase is in good solid condition but is tanned and foxed around the edges and opening.
