Full title: William the Silent; William of Nassau, Prince of Orange 1533–1584
Historian C V Wedgwood's biography of William the Silent (William of Orange) the main leader of the Dutch Revolt against the Spanish Habsburgs that set off the Eighty Years' War (1568–1648) and resulted in the formal independence of the United Provinces in 1581.
Condition
A good copy. The cloth is rubbed and a little bumped to the corners, and the pages a bit tanned but otherwise in strong readable condition, and with the added attraction of having had notable previous owners.
