An illustrated and novelised version of Clifford Mills and John Ramsey's 1911 fairy play, Where the Rainbow Ends, a fantasy story which follows the journey of four children, two girls, two boys and a pet lion cub in search of their parents. Along the way they meet dangers including dragons and a witch and are guarded and helped by Saint George.
This copy has nine colour plates and smaller black and white drawings by Leo Bates.
Condition
A rough copy but complete. The boards are quite heavily rubbed and frayed, with fading and some discoloration. The main body of text is in good readable condition, with some tanning and the few spots of foxing. All illustrations are present.
