This is a collection of thirty Russian folk songs for voice and piano, composed by Anatoly Lyadov (1855–1914), a Russian composer and conductor, associated with the group of Russian composers known as The Mighty Handful in the 1870s. The lyrics are in Russian, and this edition has an attractive coloured title page.
Condition
Good condition. The covers are detached and there is a small amount of loss to the front cover lower right. The front cover and first three pages has one small wormhole, not affecting the text. The pages are tanned and the staples rusted but this remains a usable copy and is quite rare.
