This Bible was presented to Charles John Klyberg on his being raised to the Holy Order of Priest in the Cathedral Church of St Saviour, Southwark in 1961, and has been signed by the Bishop of Southwark, Mervyn Stockwood (as Mervyn Southwark). Klyberg was a clergyman in Zambia and Battersea before becoming the Bishop of Fulham from 1985 to 1996. After his retirement, he was received into the Roman Catholic Church and was made a Prelate of Honour by Pope John Paul II.
Contains the Old and New Testaments from Genesis to Revelation, printed in double columns, with 8 pages of colour maps to the rear.
Condition
Good condition. There is light wear to the covers and some bumping to the edges. The front joint is a little worn but holding fast. The main body of text in good order.
