This book tells the story of River Alde, or Ore. It traces the changes which have taken place along this remote part of the Suffolk coast and describes the rise and decay of the ancient ports of Orford and Aldeburgh. Ships and shipbuilding, trade and fishing, beacons, Orford lighthouse, Butler Priory, are among the many subjects of interest to the yachtsmen and those who love the Suffolk scene.

Condition

A good plus copy. The dustwrapper has been price-clipped and has light wear. The book has some slight fading to the covers but is in generally very sound shape with clean pages and secure binding.
