An illustrated account of the first recording of Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen, Vienna, 1958–65. The author was a pioneering English classical record producer for Decca Records, with this recording of Wagner being his best known.

Condition

The book is in good plus condition. The dustwrapper is a little rubbed to the edges and one closed tear to the front joint (about 3cm from the bottom). The wrapper has been price-clipped but is now within a protective sleeve.
