First edition. Hardback, rebound in plain red binder's cloth with gilt titling to upper board. 18.5 × 12cm, 128pp, with contemporary local adverts to front and back.

A Victorian study of Greenwich in South East London, including the Manor and the Manor of Pleazaunce, Eastcombe and Westcombe, the Royal Hospital, Seaman's Hospital, Royal Naval School, the Park and Observatory etc. Illustrated with a frontispiece view of the Royal Hospital from the Thames.

Condition

Good condition. As mentioned, the book has been rebound and this is in good order. The contents are lightly foxed throughout and some of the advertisements have loss to the edges. The main body of text is in good strong readable condition.
