Edward Wolfe R.A. ephemera
including one signed piece
This is a collection of four pieces of artist Edward Wolfe ephemera. Wolfe was a South African-born English artist, he was hired by Roger Fry for the Omega Workshops and he became one of the youngest members of the Bloomsbury Group.
1. Private view invitation for The Song of Songs at the Royal Academy in 1980. Folded once with printed drawing to front. This item signed "Hope to see you both, Teddy and Jim". Jim was Jim O'Connor, his partner since 1962.
2. A flyer for an exhibition held at the Patrick Seale Gallery in Belgravia in 1981. Colour print to front, biographical details printed inside.
3. A flyer for an Arts Council exhibition, with one black and white image.
4. A 1967 Arts Council pamphlet (16pp) on Edward Wolfe to accompany an exhibition, with an essay by Bryan Robertson on the Nature of Edward Wolfe. With black and white illustrations.
All items are in good condition but with some degree of edgewear, creasing etc.
