This is a single issue of The Month, a monthly review published from 1864 to 2001, which for almost all of its history, was owned by the English Province of the Society of Jesus and was edited by its members. It carried a series articles, poems and prose as well as editorial comment on current events and subjects of interest to its Catholic readership.
This issue includes a memoir from the last year of the Great War before the German advance of 1918 by R H J Steuart, and a piece on Some Physical Phenomena of Mysticism: The Multiplication of Food by Herbert Thurston. Other articles Lessons from China, and Anglicanism Merely a Schism, as well as verse and critical notices. The editorial is heavy on commentary about the state of Germany in 1933.
This copy is in very good condition.
