This is a single issue of The Month, a monthly review published from 1864 to 2001, which for almost all of its history, was owned by the English Province of the Society of Jesus and was edited by its members. It carried a series articles, poems and prose as well as editorial comment on current events and subjects of interest to its Catholic readership.
This issue includes an article on Pagan Sussex by Louis Vincent, and a piece on Some Physical Phenomena of Mysticism: The Blood is the Life by Herbert Thurston. Other articles include Ninian Winzet and Anglo-Catholicism, as well as verse and critical notices.
This copy is in fair condition. The paper spine has some loss and creasing but the contents are in good order and this copy remains perfectly readable.
