The Books in My Life
Henry Miller's formative reading...
First UK edition, hardback in dustwrapper. 22.5 × 14cm, 323pp.
In this unique work, Henry Miller gives an utterly candid and self-revealing account of the reading he did during his formative years, including Emerson, Thoreau, Proust, Krishnamurti, J C Powys, Dostoievsky, Rimbaud, D H Lawrence, Whitman and many more.
A good reading copy. The dustwrapper has been reinforced on the inside with card and has general overall wear. The book has tanning to the endpapers and page edges, and a previous owner's name to the ffep but the main body of text is in good clean condition.
